This is a very active, long-term and seasonal RV resort that caters to the needs and satisfaction of the vacationer visiting the Gulf Coast. Despite the "Beach" in the name, the resort is about a mile and a half from the beach, and just off US-98, just to the west of Panama City proper. Good quiet location, however because it's just a stone's throw from Zoo World you get to hear the lions roar in the evening. That's a little disconcerting at first but a little humorous later on. All of the facilities are very clean and tidy, and there's plenty of very nice landscaping all around. Besides a nice, heated pool, there are plenty of scheduled activities and events to please the residents. We liked the resort so much, we decided to spend a month here next year to get away from the winter weather up north.

If you decide to stay at Greentree Village, make sure that you have good directions and not simply follow your GPS! The address is on O'Connor Rd, but the road actually turns and is not straight at an intersection. We got fooled. The roadways in the campground are not the best in the world and in need of repairs. Particularly awful are the numerous speed bumps (mountains?) throughout -- frequent and tall. There is also a eight-inch sloping curb that you have to drive over in order to pull into your campsite. That can really bounce you around. We had a major incident occur while we were gone for the day in downtown San Antonio. Apparently the campground maintenance crew did some work in-and-around our sewer/water/electric hookup area. We weren't alerted to this beforehand. When we returned to the site at around 5:15 in the afternoon, there was a caution sign up around the hookup area with a huge 2' x 4' hole next to the sewer hookup. It hadn't been broken, but there was mud everywhere and a large pile of dirt just in back of our rig. There was also mud all over our lines/hoses and on the side of my RV. When I called the office to find out what was going on, the night clerk simply said that if we had our services (water, electric, sewer, cable) then we should have no complaint. Huh??? There was no note or phone call to us. The clerk gave us no satisfaction and would not let us relocate to another site. Truly bizarre and unacceptable. I'll be writing to the campground to fully inform them of this ridiculous set of circumstances and the lack of appropriate customer concern on the part of the evening clerk in the office. This park has great proximity to both San Antonio and New Braunfels, where we were visiting. However, we won't be staying here again.

We arrived relatively late in the day for an overnight stay here. Our site was relatively easy to get into -- we were on our own because we got to the park so late. The only real issue we had here was the "transportation noise". Just like the movie, we had planes, trains, and automobiles -- but only until around 10 pm, or so. The campground is just down the road from Mobile International Airport with the big jets roaring overhead all evening. Just like clockwork, the jet takeoffs started up again at around 7am the next morning. Didn't really avail ourselves of the amenities here, so no comments on that part. We tried to see the proprietor in the office at 8am when he said he'd be in, but no one was there.

The access road here can be somewhat unnerving, but the RV park is worth it. There's a narrow, one-lane bridge you must cross to get there as well as a narrow down-hill road to the park, but we made it quite easily (24' class C + Smart Car toad). The transient area sites are all very clean and well maintained. Ours was fully level with a gravel surface. There are hedgerows between each site that give you some additional privacy. There are no pull-through sites as they are all back-ins. We didn't use any of the bath / shower facilities, but the rest of the park appeared to be well maintained and neat. The park is very well situated just east of Carmel and about 7 miles south of Monterey. We spent two days touring both of those towns. We would definitely stay here again.

Just an overnight stay, but the campground was very clean and pleasant. Our site was level and easy to pull into. There were activities for those who wished to participate, but we were too tired on our night there. Quiet surroundings despite being very near the very busy highway in Gallup. We would return here if in the area.

The RV park was clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The staff in the office was very knowledgeable and friendly. I only wish they had a good Wi-Fi network. The one they had was too weak to provide us with a good connection. We spent two nights there and took a quick run into Memphis to sample some good BBQ. The access to Graceland was a tremendous draw for this park. We'll be back here next year to spend a little more time in the area.

Just a quick overnight stay for us, but the owners were very friendly in staying up past 8pm to welcome us and escort us to our site. Can't comment too much on the amenities as we only stayed here until 6am the next morning. Our gravel site was very level and hooking up in the dark was fairly easy because of the placement of things. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Big Bend National Park.

The owners here are very personable and accommodating. And while it's true that the interior road is rather narrow and tight, we had no problem negotiating through to our site -- which was a pull-through. The site fit both our 24' motorhome and our Smart Car toad without a problem. Showers here are operated with tokens provided by the office -- there is no charge. Free cable TV and there were lots of local stations available on the system. The primary feature of this park is its proximity to both the Napa and Sonoma wineries.

Before you arrive here, make sure that you have the cash to pre-pay for your stay. The campground does not take credit cards! We had a very clean and level site on a concrete pad with full hook-ups. The campground is in walking distance to high-speed public transportation into San Francisco (BART), which we took advantage of to tour the city. Laundry facilities were clean with plenty of inexpensive machines to take care of things. If you're a COSTCO member, there's a store just down the road for you to shop at. While mostly a long-term park, they are very accommodating to over nighters and short-term RVers. We would stay here again when in the area.

We just spent one night here -- overnighting on the way to Montana. The site we had was not level and we had to use a lot of leveling blocks. I'm not sure why, but the campground was very crowded (we had reservations), and we had what appeared to be seasonal campers on both sides of us, with not a lot of space in between. Normally, this would not be a problem for us, but one of our neighbors decided to have a late-night campfire and invited what seemed to be half the campground to join in. We got to sleep okay that evening, but around 1:30 a.m. we we awakened by loud talking outside. There were about 12-15 people all around a blazing campfire. Unfortunately this continued right outside our windows until around 2:30 a.m. or so before they decided to call it a night. This campground rents out recumbent bicycles and during daylight there were older kids and teens out-and-about with them sometimes creating a walking hazard. This will probably be the last time we stay here. I'll be providing both the campground and KOA with some feedback on this, and hopefully it will make your stay here a lot more pleasant than ours.

This was an excellent little campground. A little off the beaten path, perhaps, but quiet and friendly. We had a nice level site on gravel with a good WiFi connection. We only stayed here one night, but would definitely stay here again.

The owner was a very friendly and tolerant gentleman. I had confused whether we had paid up-front or not, but he cleared it up for me quickly. Our site was very clean and well maintained and was level. The campground was great for our overnight stay, but I would imagine it would be fine for an extended stay. An excellent value and we would stay here again if and when we are in the area.

It was explained to us that this was because of some issues with people using Skype. Huh???? The staff was very helpful in explaining some of the features around Glacier National Park and gave us some good advice as to where to visit during our three-day stay. Good laundry facilities, but -- again -- relatively expensive with $1.75 for wash and $1.00 for 25 minutes of dryer time. Because of the location and views, and the friendly staff here, we will probably stay here again on our next visit.

This is a very family-oriented campground with numerous activities for both kids and their parents. The night we stayed there, the campground hosted a wine and cheese social and provided a pancake breakfast for campers the following morning. We picked up a limited number of TV stations in the area, just to get the news. These are local public TV channels broadcasting in digital that we were able to pick up. The site was very level, despite it being a back-in. There seemed to be plenty of room on each side of us. Good campground that seems to be very popular with locals. There are also two small ponds available for fishing (no license required). This was a good overnight stop for us and we would stay here again when passing through on one of our coast-to-coast runs.

RV campsites with hook-ups are only available at this campground in Yellowstone. The sites -- while accommodating both an RV and a dingy or tow-vehicle -- are quite narrow, and you get a very cramped feeling there. Similar to many other park campgrounds, there is no electronic communications available here. As a matter of fact, when you check in, they inform you that if you need to make an emergency phone call, you have to walk back to the office area (could be as far a half a mile for some sites) and use the pay phone. The Fishing Bridge area, however, is very centralized for access to other areas of the park. Just down from the campground entrance are shops, auto/RV repair facilities, etc. Further down the road are the facilities of Lake Lodge and Inn, with restaurants and other amenities. As we didn't have a car/dingy with us, we got around by car with friends of ours who were staying in a park cabin. There is no shuttle service or commercial vehicles to take you to park locations. You can, however, get picked up by local concessionaires who offer very pricy touring packages. Our campsite was not very level and we had to use all of our blocks to get to a reasonable degree of level. This pretty much worked for us, as we didn't have to say in our RV much of the time. For Yellowstone by RV with hook-ups, this campground is your only option while inside the park. Although we weren't really happy with either the site, nor the proximity to other campers (the place was almost full), we would still stay here again on our next trip -- which will be WITH a toad next time.

We were very impressed at clean and tidy Ennis RV Village was. The owners obviously take great pride in their facility and its appearance reflected this. We arrived late in the evening, but had called ahead and were provided with clear directions as to how to get to our assigned site. No problems. We neglected to ask for WiFi connection info, so we had to wait until morning to get connected to the Internet using that method. We did a couple of loads of wash there and the laundry facilities were very good and reasonably priced. The manager at the campground was very friendly and gregarious and provided a lot of information about the local area. He also directed us to a local company that could fill our propane tank. Our gravel site was level and had good drainage (it had rained the night before) with no puddles around anywhere. We had a good stay here and would stay here again if in the area.

We stayed here for a week to hike, bike, and see the local sights. The campground is very convenient to the Banff town shuttle, which stops not too far from the front gate of the very large facility. Our site was totally level so no blocks were required for our unit. Throughout the campground the views of the surrounding mountains were phenomenal, almost ethereal. There were also plenty of trails nearby to enjoy the local flora and fauna. (On one hike in the area two wolves crossed our path about 30 meters ahead of us!) There were also nightly visits to our site by the local deer -- who left their "evidence" outside our RV each morning. Prairie dogs kept watch over our RV during our absences -- watch our for their holes! While the campground has a large number of sites, we didn't feel crowded at all. The major problem we had with the area (not necessarily the campground) was the total lack of any communications at all. No TV, radio, or cell phone service. There was a signal for our Verizon broadband card, but the charges in Canada were absolutely prohibitive. I guess that left us with more time to explore the area. Overall, a good campground. We we definitely stay here again on our next trip up to the Canadian Rockies.

This was just a wonderful campground, with plenty of room, a level site, and lots of trees providing shade and quiet. There is a small shopping area just outside of the campground area and only 50 meters, or so, from where we were parked. Also down the road was a Ranger station and visitors center, as well as the marina for Colter Bay and Jackson Lake where you can rent canoes, boats, etc. Plenty of trails in the area. We didn't use the showers or bathrooms at the campground, so we have no comments on them. The staff at the registration office were very friendly, helpful, and seemed to really enjoy their jobs. There is a regional shuttle bus run by the Colter Bay Company that travels four times each day between the two of Jackson and Colter Bay, with stops in between at Jackson Lake Lodge, and Jenny Lake Lodge (where we stopped to have a fantastic gourmet dinner the night before we left). I would give the campground a perfect 10, however, there was no WiFi, or other electronics communications available. Nevertheless, we will ensure that this campground is on our itinerary for years to come.

We camped here relatively early in the season, and they were probably short-staffed. While the showers were okay, there was a lot of grime in places, and it was evident that they hadn't had a thorough cleaning in some time. We were really in an isolated site so things were quiet, despite several groups staying here. There are no site sewer connections available. We tried connecting to the Internet through our data card, but there was no appreciable signal available in the area.

This was our second stay at this campground in the last two weeks. Got a much better site this time, near the showers and office, however we still had to use our leveling blocks to boost up the left side of our RV. Very clean park with an interesting little hiking trail in the back area of the campground. The owner is very pleasant and we enjoyed talking with her. They were very helpful with some advice about the area. We will certainly stay here again if in the area.

Very friendly staff here. I was very impressed with the state of the campground with everything tidy and clean. While the location was in a relatively industrial section of town (just across the river from Louisville KY), we found a very nice dinner theater just across the street from the park (took in a buffet dinner and show), and there's another restaurant just a block away at a Holiday Inn. Nice surprises. The site we had was very level with relatively new bluestone pads. The campground water supply is delivered at 75 PSI and they warn you when you're there. If you stay here, bring a water regulator connector with you. Fortunately, we had one.

A good location not too far from all the Nashville sites and just down the road from Opryland and the Grand Ole Opry itself. The campground has an arrangement with a local shuttle service that provides round-trip service to virtually anywhere in the area for $5 per person. We found the location to be very quiet and the hosts responsible and friendly. We had a little difficulty trying to get our 24' B+ leveled on our site (gravel), but got it close enough. While we tried to take advantage of the cable hook-up, we got better reception through our roof-top antenna, with quite a few digital broadcasts in the area.

Very friendly staff here. Quiet site with very few other campers around us (off-season). Restrooms and showers were clean and safe with combination lock access from the outside. Campsite is in a nice location, although close to I-81. However, there was very little traffic noise to bother us in the evening. Great hook-ups for electricity, water, sewer and cable TV. The site was a not level and despite using our leveling blocks we were not quite able to get to a reasonable position for good water drainage. There's a great tour (45 minutes) of the Dixie Caverns available at a discount ($7 fee per person). My wife and I thought it was very well worth it. There was no RV or convenience store available at the campsite. We were short a bottle opener but couldn't buy one there. However, the concierge was kind enough to lend us their opener for our use. We would stay here again if in the area.

We arrived at the campground after 7:30pm on a Saturday night having previously called the facility to let them know we would be there late. A registration form and a map to our site were both available at the entrance as was explained to us. We found our site easy enough, but it had been raining in the area for two days and the site was very muddy with very little gravel to keep the feet out of the mud. There were two sets of men's showers. While one set was okay (a little messy, but fairly clean), the other was virtually flooded all around. There was a sign on the building claiming that the showers were to be cleaned between 8:30am and 9:30am each morning, at 10am there was no evidence of this. Our water and electric hook-ups were fine, but the site sewer hook-up was just an open pipe without any type of interface for the hose connector. The Wi-Fi connection was great. We will probably stay here again in perhaps better weather, but this weekend was a stark introduction for us first-time RVers.

Very quiet park in the middle of Virginia cattle-country. We had a nice, level site with good cable TV. Early in the season so the campground was only about 60% filled. We had a very pleasant walk around their pond/lake that you can fish for catfish (pay for your catch by the pound). There was only one staff member at the office who had to take care of our registration while handling multiple calls. He was able to help us quite well and even took the time to fill our propane tank for us. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the area just off I-81.

The park was in really nice condition. It looked as if it had been recently renovated. Site was relatively level. Nice lake here, but you can't swim here. No cable hookup and no good TV signals in the area -- either analog or digital. The hosts were very friendly and we enjoyed talking with them. WiFi connection is strong and quite fast.

The campground had just opened for the season and things were in a state of change -- to put it mildly. The new owners are making significant changes and upgrades -- and from the looks of things the campground really needed it. There are cut-down trees and tree branches all over the place, however our site was clear. The campsite is directly on the Youghiogheny River and has great views. There's swimming in the river, but there are boat and canoe/kayak launch ramps available. There are tent sites available directly on the river's edge. All day long there are CSX freight trains passing by on the other side of the river. This made for a very noisy evening when trying to either listen to music or watch TV. The temperature went down to 25 degrees late the night we stayed there and as a result, our local water hose and the water line were total frozen in the morning when we woke up. It made for an awful process of unhooking everything and getting things put away prior to leaving. Despite the trains going by and the unfortunate freezing weather, we think this campground will only improve and we would probably stay here again.
